Adam Bosworth
Adam Bosworth is the founder and CEO of Keas, a startup whose vision, as stated on Adam's blog, is in part: "If you are one of the many at risk of losing your health, Keas will help you keep healthy." Prior to founding Keas, he was Vice President of Engineering at Google Inc, where in his last assignment he was the architect of Google Health. Prior to Google, Adam was VP Engineering at BEA Systems and was responsible for the engineering efforts for BEA's Framework Division. He came to BEA from its acquisition of a startup he founded — Crossgain. Known as one of the pioneers of XML, Bosworth previously held various senior management positions at Microsoft, including General Manager of the WebData group, a team focused on defining and driving XML strategy. While at Microsoft, he was responsible for designing and delivering the Microsoft Access PC database product and assembling and driving the team that developed Internet Explorer 4.0's HTML engine. Prior to Microsoft, Bosworth worked for Borland where he developed the Quattro spreadsheet application.
Francis Fukuyama
Francis Fukuyama is the Bernard Schwartz Professor of International Political Economy at the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in Washington, D.C. His "The End of History and he Last Man" established him as a world-renowned thinker and author about the current state of the modern world. In his book entitled "Trust" and the subsequent "The Great Disruption" he has shed critical light on the nature of modern social relationships, including those within large organizations. Because a social network is a "moral relationship of trust", he brings to our efforts to reveal such networks an indispensable perspective.
Michael Klausner
Michael Klausner is Nancy and Charles Munger Professor of Business and Professor of Law at Stanford University. A leading scholar of corporate law and corporate governance, Mr. Klausner has conducted in-depth empirical studies of outside director liability and takeover defenses in firms at their initial public offering. His recent scholarship has focused on securities litigation, directors' and officers' liability insurance, and the liability risk of outside directors. Before joining the Stanford Law School faculty in 1997, he was a professor of law at New York University Law School, a White House Fellow and deputy associate director in the Office of Policy Development, and a corporate law practitioner with Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher in Washington, D.C. and Hong Kong. He clerked for Justice William Brennan of the U.S. Supreme Court and Judge David Bazelon of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
Tod Nielsen
Tod Nielsen is President and Chief Executive Officer of Borland Software Corporation. Mr. Nielsen has over 20 years of leadership experience in the enterprise software and application development industries, having held executive level positions at companies such as Microsoft Corporation, BEA Systems and Oracle Corporation.
