IT.com's products are socially grounded because we believe enterprises are becoming increasing social and that social network analysis (SNA) is critically important to extracting business intelligence from the systems enterprises use to communicate. Further, we believe that not only knowing who are connected, but why they are connected (i.e., the context of relationships that provide the relational tie) can provide a level of intelligence not available before.

This capability can potentially solve many problems where intelligence is required from unstructured, user-generated content. Today, this thinking powers two products for different markets:

IT-Social

IT-Social takes social intelligence that already exists in a company's email system and adds it to their enterprise social network such as Jive®, VMware's SocialCast®, or Chatter from Salesforce.com®. As a result, companies increase adoptions rates and raise the level of community engagement within their enterprise social networks.

IT-Discovery

IT-Discovery helps companies reduce costs in the electronic discovery (e-discovery) process and rapidly solve corporate or regulatory investigations. IT-Discovery provides a level of intelligence for traditional information management systems and archives to create "intelligent repositories". As a result, companies can perform early case assessment, cull-down data more effectively, and find facts almost immediately.
